Badass Beverages Limited (Badass Beverages) is committed to protecting the privacy of any personal information held about individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020.  “Personal information” is information about an identifiable individual, or an individual who is reasonably identifiable (being a natural person). This policy sets out how we collect, use, store and disclose your personal information. We may change this policy at any time by uploading a revised policy to our website.

Who do we collect your personal information from?

We collect personal information about you from:

  • you, when you provide that personal information to us including via our website or through contact with us via email or over the phone

  • third parties such as credit assessment or debt collection agencies, where you have authorised such collection pursuant to our Terms and Conditions of Sale, or our distributors.

We try to collect personal information from you directly.

The types of personal information we collect may include:

  • personal and/or work contact details (including phone number/email address)

  • details relating to your purchase

 Besides our staff, we may share your personal information with:

  • distributors and logistics providers, in order to send you our product

  • a credit reference agency for the purpose of credit checking you

  • a debt collection agency to collect money owed to us

  • our website hosting provider and payment processor

  • other third party service providers such as data analysis providers

  • any regulatory authority

  • any person authorised by the Privacy Act 2020 or another law

  • any other person authorised by you

Our store/website is hosted on Squarespace. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products to you. To process payments your personal information is transmitted via an encrypted connection to our payment processor, Stripe. Stripe uses and processes your payment information in accordance with Stripe’s Privacy Policy.  If you go through checkout at our online store, your shipping and billing address may be auto-completed by sharing what you type with the Google Places API and returning suggestions to you to improve your checkout experience.

What if you don’t provide Badass Beverages the personal information it requires?

If you choose not to provide us with the personal information we require, we'll be unable to sell or send you our product.

Protecting your personal information

We will take reasonable steps to keep your personal information safe from loss, unauthorised access or disclosure or other misuse. If you provide us with personal information over the internet, the provision of that information is at your own risk.

Accessing and correcting your personal information
